Java Software Engineer
We are looking for a talented Java Software Engineer for our Biotech business.

Your Profile
Among your responsibilities, you will:
- Contribute to backend development across the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Work closely with senior developers, architects, and cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, maintainable, and scalable backend solutions.
- Apply relevant design patterns and architectural principles to build clean and robust software.
- Follow coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines to ensure clean, secure, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance improvements.
- Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies in backend development, and apply them where relevant in the project.
Among your skills and qualifications, you bring:
- 4+ years of experience in Java development.
- Very good knowledge of the Spring framework and RESTful services.
- Experience in working on big projects with multiple SCRUM teams.
- Knowledge of database development is advantageous (JDBC/Hibernate/JPA).
- Knowledge of design patterns and software architecture principles is advantageous.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js) is a plus.
- Experience with automation/communication protocols and (bio)‑process engineering is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with the Atlassian tool suite is highly welcomed.
- You are goal‑oriented, work well independently, use your strong problem‑solving skills in collaboration with the team, and communicate well in an international and intercultural setting.
- You communicate effectively in English.
