Our client is seeking a Senior Java Developer to support on an initial 6-12 month B2B contract based onsite 5 days per week in Strasbourg, France. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years IT experience,5 years in Java development and be eligible to undergo an EU secret clearance.
- Ability to understand the IT design models and specifications to be used as a basis for the programming.
- In depth knowledge of the applicable programming environment considered as being mainstream for the IT project to which the IT developer is assigned: Java is the required programming language for this profile.
- Good knowledge of the development of web and multi-tiers web applications, and mobile applications.
- Good knowledge of the web services stack used in the selected technology.
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments.
- Experience and willingness of working in an international/multicultural environment.
- Development frameworks and product-specific technologies relevant to the EES / Webservices / API-PNR landscape, built primarily on Java: Spring Boot, Kafka / IBM Event Stream, PostgreSQL and Istio (Application specifics); and Magnolia CMS, IBM Sterling Transformation Extender (ITX Parser/Formatter), ForgeRock/OpenID/OAuth 2.0, API Connect and IBM MQ Advanced (Webservices specifics).
