What you’ll bring to the role:
Required Skills
- 7-15 years of development experience with proven ability to write optimized, efficient, and clean code.
- Core Java, Java EE, Spring/SpringBoot, Web Services, Relational databases
- Experience with UI development frameworks (preferably Angular, React, etc)
- Experience with AI coding assistants like copilot, using Agent mode, Skills, etc for software development, automation, reporting, or analytics.
- Demonstrated experience in designing complex, large-scale distributed systems and microservices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
- Strong work ethic, collaborative spirit, and clear communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to write thorough unit tests covering all major logic components, preferably using coding assistant.
- Ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives and understand the financial aspects of technology decisions.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with DevOps practices: CI/CD pipeline management, containerization, observability tools.
- Understanding of serverless architecture
- Competency with source control systems (preferably git), CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, ensuring streamlined development processes.
- Exposure to JIRA or other ALM tools
- Basic understanding of Linux and Shell scripting
