We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to support the migration of a legacy application from SOAP to REST/JSON. You'll be working on a Java-based transformation tool that converts SOAP messages into REST/JSON, while helping modernise the application and deployment environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot.
- Support the migration of SOAP services to REST/JSON.
- Build and enhance a Java-based transformation tool.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Deploy and support applications on Red Hat OpenShift.
- Collaborate with development and platform teams to modernise the application landscape.
Required Skills:
- Strong Java development experience (Java 17+ / Java 25 preferred).
- Spring Boot.
- Red Hat OpenShift.
- GitHub Enterprise.
- CI/CD pipeline experience.
- Experience with REST APIs and SOAP integrations/migrations.
Contract Details:
- 12-month initial contract.
- Hybrid working: 2 days per week onsite in Amsterdam, remainder remote.
- Immediate or short-notice availability preferred.
