We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Java Engineer to join one of our global banking clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in building scalable applications and APIs, working with cloud technologies, and delivering high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment.
Key Skills and Experience
- Strong programming experience in Java, API development, Cloud Engineering, and exposure to React.
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including Oracle, SQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration technologies, including OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of messaging systems such as IBM MQ and Apache Kafka.
- Strong understanding and application of clean code principles and software engineering best practices.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience working within Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
