Role: Full Stack Java Developer
Location: Hybrid (3 days in office in Montreal)
Duration: Long-term Contract
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and support of RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance and security.
- Develop and maintain Python-based components and scripts to enhance platform capabilities.
- Apply object-oriented design and software engineering principles throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Operate effectively in Linux/Unix environments, ensuring robust system integration and deployment.
- Utilize and implement secure networking protocols, including HTTPS, SSH/SFTP, and TLS.
- Design, implement, and manage relational database solutions using Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
- Mentor junior developers, promote best practices, and contribute to code reviews and architectural decisions.
- Ensure deliverables are compliant with organizational standards and security protocols.
Must Have:
- Experience with Python and Spring Boot and REST API development
- Understanding of object-oriented design and software engineering. Principles
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and familiarity with networking protocols (HTTPS, SSH/SFTP, TLS)
- Experience working with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
