Java Tech Lead / Application Architect Minneapolis, Minnesota(Hybrid-local only) C2H Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Java Tech Lead / Application Architect to join our team. This role requires deep expertise in backend development, API architecture, and cloud-native solutions. You will drive innovation, mentor engineers, and optimize development processes to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability. Experience 10+ years of Java backend design, solution development, and implementation, with a strong focus on SOAP/REST/GraphQL API development. 5+ years of experience as a Tech Lead or Application Architect, with excellent coding and mentoring skills. Preferably experienced in Financial Services, Banking, or Capital Markets Local candidates only. On site. Technical Skills Programming: Java, Spring Boot Messaging Systems: Kafka, IBM-MQ Database Expertise: Proficiency in SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning. Experience with MS SQL Server, Postgres, MariaDB, and in-memory databases like SingleStore or Apache Ignite is a plus. Containerization & Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes Architecture: Microservices, event-driven architectures Version Control & CI/CD: Git, DevOps pipeline management AI & Innovation: Willingness to learn Agentic AI and implement Copilot to enhance coding practices and reduce costs.
