The Associate Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications using Java 17 and Spring Boot 3. The ideal candidate will have 0-0.6 years of professional experience and will play a key role in feature development, architectural improvements, performance optimization, and the maintenance and support of existing systems..

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 17 and Spring Boot 3 
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and development teams to deliver high-quality, integrated features.
  • Participate in requirement analysis, architecture discussions, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Debug and resolve complex technical issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Optimize applications for scalability, performance, and security.
  • Review code and enforce clean code principles, best practices, and architectural standards.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services, including O365 SMTP for email services and RabbitMQ for messaging.
  • Work with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB for application data storage.

  • Support CI/CD processes using tools like Bamboo and Bitbucket.
  • Work with S3 for file storage, Cloudflare and Load Balancers for network management.

Requirements

  • Degree: BE, B.Tech, MCA, MSc IT.
  • 0-0.6years of professional software development experience.
  • Must have knowledge of AI coding assistants (such as Codex, Claude, etc.) within the IDE editor for development tasks.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot 3
  • Good knowledge of databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs; familiarity with Swagger.
  • Strong understanding of backend security, performance tuning, and coding best practices.
  • Experience working with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of S3 buckets, Cloudflare, and Load Balancers (LB).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Familiarity with micro services architecture, logging, and monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Work Environment:

  • Collaborative team environment with opportunities to lead modules and mentor developers.
  • May require occasional on-call or after-hours support for critical issues.
