Role Description
- Lead design, development, and deployment of enterprise‑grade Java J2EE applications.
- Build and maintain high‑performance REST APIs and gRPC services for scalable systems.
- Design and implement microservices‑based architectures aligned with enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop and integrate services using REST, JSON, SOAP WSDL, and XML protocols. Implement APIs using frameworks such as Spring Boot, light4j, and gRPC.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support high‑volume transactional systems.
- Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and reliability benchmarks.
- Apply and enforce secure coding practices to meet enterprise security standards.
- Participate in and lead code reviews to ensure high‑quality, maintainable code.
- Design and implement caching strategies (e.g., Redis, Memcached) for performance optimization.
- Work with cloud teams to deploy and manage applications on Azure, AWS, GCP platforms.
- Contribute to system architecture decisions for large‑scale, distributed environments.
- Mentor junior developers and drive best practices in development and design.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product) to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
Required Skill Set
- Java Spring Boot (Java 21)
- Microservices REST, gRPC, WSDL/SOAP, XML, JSON, SQL (advanced)
- Implement APIs based on architecture frameworks (light4j, Spring Boot, gRPC framework)
- Cache framework – Redis, IBM MQ, Java Quarkus framework
- Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- System design capability
- Secure coding and code review experience
- BFsi domain knowledge
