Required Skill Set
- Minimum good years of hands on experience in enterprise application development and production application support
- Strong background supporting mission critical systems in complex enterprise environments. Security & SSL In depth knowledge of SSL/TLS concepts
- Strong hands on experience with:
- Certificates (server, client, CA)
- Keystores and truststores
- SSL configuration and troubleshooting in enterprise applications Java & Framework Expertise
- Strong hands on experience with Java 8 and Java 17
- Solid working knowledge of Spring Framework (Legacy applications)
- Proven ability to debug, enhance, and optimize legacy Java codebases Service Technologies
- Strong expertise in SOAP Web Services (approximately 80% of our services are SOAP based)
- Deep understanding of RESTful services, including:
- Legacy REST implementations using JAX RS / Jerseyo
- Modern approaches to building REST services
- Good understanding of service design, integration, and backward compatibility Application Support & Batch Processing
- Excellent Application Support knowledge, including:
- Production support processes
- Incident triage, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
- End to end operational ownership of applications
- Strong experience supporting batch intensive environments, including 'Job scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting':
- Supporting large volumes of batch jobs
- Hands on experience executing and troubleshooting Shell scripts, Database procedures and queries Database Skills
- Strong knowledge of SQL and core database concepts
- Proven experience in:
- Executing and fine tuning stored procedures
- Optimizing complex SQL queries
- Database performance troubleshooting Unix / Linux & Scripting.
Salary Range Format
Base Salary Range: 90,000 CAD/Yr – 120,000 CAD/Yr.
