Java Technical Lead

Java Technical Lead sought for a thriving iGaming company based full-time in Malaga. This is a hands-on, Java-based position, with Kubernetes and AWS used - a minimum 7-8+ years’ experience with Java & Spring Boot is sought. This will be to join a brand new office location in Malaga, and will see you help build and grow your own team over time.

The architecture is based around Kubernetes and AWS cloud, so it’s important that you have solid commercial Kubernetes experience as well as some good working experience of AWS services and message queues.

This is an English-speaki ng Java Technical Lead / Lead Software Engineer role as you will be in close collaboration with the wider European team, so C1 English level or above is required.

Over the last couple of years this company have experienced rapid growth, and as a result they are now seeking a new Java Technical Lead, to act as the glue between the senior team and delivering tech. You’ll be leading technically, so still mostly hands on (tech leadership over line management), and managing the technical lifecycle for each quarter.

You’d be working on gamification of online casino jackpot products, as well as lots of other interesting products, and the company have seen excellent growth in the past 2 years with a superb roadmap ahead!

You must be based in Malaga in order to apply, or be willing to relocate to Malaga, as this is an on-site position (5-days on-site) (remote flex can be offered further down the line. xqbhyrx

The ideal Java Technical Lead candidate needs the below skills and experience:

• 7 years + commercial Java experience (with Spring Boot) (back-end leaning)
• Any React frontend experience is desirable
• igaming or gambling industry experience is a bonus
• Based in Malaga or happy to relocate to be on site full time
• You’ve fully embraced AI into your day-to-day work
