Job Summary

The Technical Lead in this role will be responsible for overseeing the architecture, design, and development of Java/J2 EE applications with a focus on RESTful services and the Spring Boot framework. This position is based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Primary objectives include leading a team of developers, ensuring technical excellence, and delivering high‐quality solutions aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of Java/J2 EE developers in the design, development, and implementation of RESTful web services using Spring Boot. Define and implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high performance, scalability, and security of applications. Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and drive architectural decisions. Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and mentor junior team members to foster continuous learning and improvement. Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions and drive technical innovation within the team.

Skill Requirements

Strong expertise in Java/J2 EE technologies, RESTful web services, and the Spring Boot framework. Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable and secure web applications using Java. In‐depth knowledge of microservices architecture, cloud technologies, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies. Excellent problem‐solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast‐paced environment. Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, present technical concepts, and lead technical discussions effectively.

Other Requirements

Relevant certifications in Java, Spring Boot, or cloud technologies are a plus.
