POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Custom Software Engineer within Financial Services, you will design, code, and enhance custom software solutions across modern application systems. The role focuses on delivering high-performance, scalable enterprise components using robust frameworks and agile practices within a banking context.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade software components using Java and WebSphere.
- Refactor and optimize core application functionality within custom banking environments.
- Integrate cloud services with existing infrastructure, leveraging AWS where applicable.
- Participate in agile delivery workflows, sprint ceremonies, and peer code reviews.
- Troubleshoot system issues and enhance overall application throughput and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with team members and client stakeholders to fulfill project deliverables.
