Rebel is seeking an Intermediate JavaScript Full Stack Developer to work in a hybrid model in Ottawa. Engage in building scalable products with React on the front end and Node.js on the back end.
As part of the team, you will play a vital role in enhancing internal services and customer-facing solutions. This position includes writing modular code and participating in code reviews, Agile processes, and feature design with colleagues from various departments. Your creativity and technical insight will drive product quality and development efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop scalable and reliable services using Node.js
• Engage in cross-functional collaborations for product improvements
• Automate testing and deployment processes for stability
• Follow Agile methodologies for feature iteration
• Implement clean and reusable UI components with React
Requirements:
• 3–8 years professional development experience
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills
• Node.js service experience and RESTful API familiarity
• Cloud platform experience, preferably AWS
• Knowledge of collaborative Git workflows
