The ideal candidate is comfortable working in an AI assisted development model using GitHub Copilot, has solid API integration experience, follows test driven development practices, and can deliver clean, accessible, production ready UI solutions in a regulated enterprise environment. About the Role Citizens Bank is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to support the development of modern web applications used for financial reporting, data visualization, and AI powered use cases. This role requires a self-driven engineer who can take high level requirements and deliver end-to-end frontend solutions with minimal supervision. You will work in an AI assisted development environment, using tools such as GitHub Copilot to accelerate delivery, while maintaining full ownership of code quality and outcomes. What You’ll Do Build responsive and accessible frontend applications using React and TypeScript Integrate with backend APIs and enterprise data services using Axios, including authentication and error handling Write clean, well-tested code using a test-driven development approach Use AI assisted development tools to speed up delivery while validating and refining generated code Collaborate with engineering leads and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical scope Keep Jira updated and participate in sprint demos What You’ll Bring 7 years of frontend development experience, including 3 years with React and TypeScript Strong TypeScript skills and focus on maintainable, scalable code Experience with component driven development, hooks, and common state management patterns Hands on experience integrating APIs using Axios Familiarity with TDD and modern testing frameworks Ability to work independently in an AI assisted development model Understanding of web accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.2 AA Nice to Have Experience in financial services or regulated enterprise environments Exposure to enterprise design systems Familiarity with AWS services from a frontend consumer perspective Experience with enterprise security and single sign on integrations
