FREELANCE JavaScript Developer – SOFTWARE MIGRATION PROJECT

The Role
We are partnering with a global organisation within the industrial manufacturing sector, across industries including aerospace, agriculture, construction, food & beverage, manufacturing, mining, power generation, transportation and more.
They are seeking a Senior Software Developer to drive a critical software migration initiative. This role requires a hands-on expert capable of providing technical oversight across cloud, IoT, and SaaS environments, while operating within a structured project framework.
Key Skills & Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight across Azure Cloud, containerized environments, and IoT solutions (including customer-hosted systems)
- Support design and definition of SaaS-based service models
- Drive Agile delivery best practices, with a focus on CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure all development activities meet regulatory and compliance requirements
What my client is looking for (Requirements):
- Fluent in Italian & English (essential)
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (deployment, scaling, integration)
- Strong experience in JavaScript is essential
- Hands-on expertise with containerization tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes/AKS)
- Strong background in open-source technologies (Linux)
- Proven experience delivering IoT solutions, particularly within SaaS-based products
- Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines within Agile environments
