Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality React-based frontend applications within an Agile squad.
- Translate business requirements into clean, scalable, and maintainable code following software craftsmanship principles.
- Design, build, and optimize high-performance, reusable, and reliable applications.
- Contribute to backend development using Java and Spring Framework when required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features across web, mobile, and cloud platforms.
- Integrate applications with APIs and external data sources while ensuring performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Apply best practices such as Clean Code, SOLID principles, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and refactoring.
- Write and maintain automated tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, pair programming, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application bottlenecks and production issues.
Experience Required
- 8+ years of experience as a React Developer or Frontend Software Engineer.
- Strong expertise in Core JavaScript and React.
- Proven experience with Git, Jest, and React Testing Library.
- Strong understanding of Clean Code, SOLID principles, Design Patterns, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Experience with Java, Spring Framework, Maven, and Databases is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of authentication processes and secure application development is preferred.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent experience).
- Strong English communication skills (Dutch or French is a plus).
