Junior Javascript Developer, Reporting Platform

Client: Our client is a pioneering platform specializing in carbon accounting and reporting. Their platform is uniquely designed to cater to the private markets and supply chains, providing API integrations, portfolio, and supply chain management tools, and onboarding solutions that democratize ESG reporting for businesses of all sizes. The client's team includes professionals with backgrounds in top firms.
- Responsibilities: Implementing 80%+ Unit test coverage with Jest and Mocha
- Develop and implement new backend features
- Bug fixing
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to achieve project goals
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and best practices in the Node.js ecosystem
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in web development or related field (preferably Node.js)
- Basic proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
- Basic knowledge of using Webpack and NPM for project development
- Understanding of web technologies: HTML5, CSS
- Awareness of code testing techniques; exposure to BDD and TDD is a plus
- Familiarity with version control systems
- Exposure to CI/CD systems is a bonus
- Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Strong willingness to learn, collaborate, and adapt
- Exposure to React is a plus
- Spoken English
