We’re hiring a team of Mid‑Senior Frontend & Full‑Stack Engineers (contractors) to join a large‑scale collaborative product engineering team. The role involves building modern customer‑facing platforms and internal business applications used across a large European technology organisation.
Responsibilities
Develop modern web applications and digital experiences using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend tooling.
Build responsive user interfaces for customer‑facing platforms and internal tools.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, QA teams, and other engineers to deliver high‑quality software solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code aligned with engineering best practices.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards and processes.
Build and integrate APIs and backend services where required.
Work with PHP‑based applications and frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel.
Support containerised development workflows using Docker.
Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation activities.
Utilise A.I.–assisted development tools such as Cursor to improve productivity and delivery.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across software quality, user experience, and engineering processes.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver business value.
Experience and Skills
Strong commercial experience with JavaScript and modern frontend development.
HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and cross‑browser compatibility.
Building modern web applications and user interfaces.
Git‑based development workflows.
Frontend tooling, package managers, and modern development practices.
TypeScript experience or a strong interest in working with TypeScript.
Browser debugging, testing, and performance optimisation.
Writing clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
Working effectively within agile product teams.
Using A.I. development tools such as Cursor or similar.
Highly Desirable
React, Next.Js, Gatsby, Nuxt, or similar frontend frameworks.
PHP development using Symfony and/or Laravel.
Designing and consuming REST APIs.
Relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Docker and containerised development workflows.
Redis, OpenSearch, or similar technologies.
Software testing and quality assurance best practices.
Backend architecture and full‑stack application development.
Fluent Spanish communication skills (written and spoken).
Intermediate English communication skills.
Contract Details
- €250‑350 per day (B2B via Deel) – the rate depends on skill and seniority level and on performance in the interview.
- Fully remote within Europe.
- 6‑month rolling contract, with no end date – this can roll on potentially indefinitely, with each extension for 6‑months at a time, giving visibility and stability.
