Senior JavaScript (React/Node) Developer to support an Open Banking Core Project- 40722
Location Address:Toronto/Hybrid 3-4 days in office
Contract Duration: 06/15/2026 to 10/30/2026 (Possibility of extension)
Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week
Story Behind the Need
Business group: Client Engineering - Mobile and Web
Project: Open Banking Core
Reason : Platform Scope Scaling with more use cases and clients
Key Accountabilities :
- Providing technical direction with team input and feedback
- Assisting in developing coding standards and testing approaches
- Collaborating with the Architect (if applicable) to realize technical vision and direction
- You will be considered an expert in a major application and/or technical domains, and is highly regarded for their technical competence.
- Providing expert advice and counsel to key stakeholders on development project teams on complex issues related to “area of specialty”
- Providing reviews of solution designs and related code
- Proficient in security scanning and implementing best practices to resolve security issues
- Mentor and help team members in technical knowledge and best coding practices
- 7+ years of Extensive experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases such as Postgres, MongoDB
- 7+ years of Experience with Redis or caching strategies
- 7+ years of Experience deploying and managing containerized applications on GCP using Kubernetes
- 7+ years of Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
- 7+ years of Experience with REST API design
- Knowledge in Object Oriented and Functional Design
- Used modern JS toolsets (ES6, Typescript, Babel, Lerna, Jest, Protractor)
Nice to have:
- 5 + years of work experience with Java & SpringBoot
- Have experience working on projects that involve Application Security like oAuth2 and/or SSO
- Have well rounded knowledge of Agile principles and the flexibility to adapt your experience to new and evolving environments
Education:
•Post-secondary education in Software Engineering or Computer Science.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Developer with strong experience with React.js and Node.js. Looking for more Fornt-end development experience.

Skills/Experience/Competencies:
- Must have 10 + years of work experience as a React.js and Node.js developer. Have experience building scalable, enterprise level technology stacks with Javascript but ideally with a broad set of tools
- 7+ years of Extensive experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases such as Postgres, MongoDB
- 7+ years of Experience with Redis or caching strategies
- 7+ years of Experience deploying and managing containerized applications on GCP using Kubernetes
- 7+ years of Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
