In this role, you will work on projects that are vital to Johnson & Johnson's business units and collaborate with a diverse team of professionals. We are looking for an adaptable and kind individual who can work effectively with various stakeholders, as well as lead in an environment of competing priorities.
As a Jr Full Stack Developer, you will be a key contributor to our technology initiatives, with a strong focus on Web Development, API (Application Programming Interface) Management, Test Automation, DevOps, Observability & Agile SCRUM. You will take a key role in a product stack that includes Apigee, AWS API Gateway, AWS Lambda, Node.js, New Relic and Robot Framework for test automation.
You will be responsible for:
2. Best Practice Implementation: Ensure the implementation of technology stack best practices, including automation, scalable design, and adherence to programmatic standards.
3. Collaborative Environment: collaborator within the engineering community, including all roles in the Scrum Team. Also, be a point of contact for API discussions within EDGE.
4. Support Testing: Be a manual or automation tester when needed to ensure the team has the best throughput possible to add more value to the company.
Qualifications :
Required skills/Experience :
- Educational Background: bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Software Engineering: a minimum of 1 year of hands-on software engineering experience. Including personal and professional projects.
- Agile Development: proficiency in working with agile software development teams.
- Full-Stack Development: proven experience in Node.js.
- Proficiency in English: intermediate written and spoken English are mandatory.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Atlassian Toolset: Experience with Atlassian tools, particularly JIRA, is advantageous.
- Database Expertise: Proficiency in working with databases like SQL or NoSQL.
- Microservices Architecture: Experience with microservices architecture and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Cloud Computing: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- DevOps Skills: Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
- Test Automation: Experience with at least one test automation framework, including Robot, Selenium or Cypress.
