At Helix Electric, we are committed to empowering people and powering projects. We are seeking a Junior Application Developer to support key business initiatives while gaining hands-on experience with enterprise applications built on the Microsoft technology stack.
Location: San Diego, CA
Schedule: This is a 100% onsite position. Candidates must be able to work onsite full-time in our San Diego office.
Salary: $70,000–$80,000 + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits
What You'll Do:
This role is focused on developing and supporting internal business applications rather than traditional customer-facing software products.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain applications using C#/.NET.
- Build and support REST APIs and system integrations.
- Support production applications and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Build and maintain integrations and data processes across business systems.
- Write and maintain technical documentation.
- Develop and execute unit tests.
- Support data quality initiatives.
- Collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of professional experience with C#/.NET
- Experience building or consuming REST APIs
- Experience supporting business applications
- Familiarity with Git
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure
- Azure Functions
- Messaging/Queues
- Experience working within the Microsoft technology stack
Compensation:
The starting base pay for this role is between USD $70,000.00 and $80,000.00 per year. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as location, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for bonus and benefits.
