Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop scalable, maintainable backend services using Laravel and JavaScript.
- Implement and maintain database structures and schemas in MongoDB, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Adhere to and advocate for best practices in code quality, testing, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with the frontend team to integrate APIs and services seamlessly.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
- Contribute to the adoption of hexagonal architecture to ensure our codebase is modular, scalable, and easy to maintain.
- Work within a monorepo environment, managing dependencies and ensuring consistency across different parts of the project.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems, and provide support and solutions to technical issues.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in backend development, and be willing to explore new tools and practices to enhance our products and workflows.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Laravel and JavaScript.
- Proven experience with MongoDB, including schema design, querying, and optimization.
- Familiarity with hexagonal (ports and adapters) architecture and its implementation in complex systems.
- Experience with managing code in a monorepo setup, and understanding the benefits and challenges associated with it.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for sharing knowledge and working together to solve challenges.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
