Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join our growing engineering team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, GraphQL, ReactJS/Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, and AWS, with a proven background in designing and developing scalable full-stack enterprise applications.
This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in the Amsterdam office.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Build high-performance backend services using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and GraphQL.
- Develop responsive and interactive front-end applications using ReactJS and/or Angular.
- Develop server-side applications using Node.js where required.
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
- Deploy and maintain applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, UX Designers, and QA teams.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
Required Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Full Stack Development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience developing REST APIs and GraphQL services.
- Expertise in ReactJS and/or Angular.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js.
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience building enterprise-scale web applications.
- Strong understanding of software design principles and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- CI/CD pipeline experience.
- Knowledge of Microservices Architecture.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Exposure to DevOps practices.
