What You Will Do:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code within enterprise-level architectures.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices (Spring Boot).
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (business analysts, QA, and other developers) to define and deliver new features.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and resolving technical issues in production and non-production environments.
Required Qualifications:
- Location: Must be local to the Charlotte, NC area and comfortable working on a hybrid schedule.
- Work Authorization: Must be able to work directly on our W2 (No C2C, no 3rd party agencies).
- Technical Stack:
- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11+) and enterprise ecosystems.
- Deep experience with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data).
- Solid understanding of RESTful web services and microservices architecture.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL) and writing complex queries.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience within the financial services or banking domain.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Knowledge of Kafka, Docker, or Kubernetes.
