We are currently looking for an experienced Lead Java Developer to enhance our vibrant team. The successful applicant will collaborate closely with a prominent Wealth Management firm that operates using a broker-dealer model. This position provides an opportunity to serve as a Senior Developer within a cross-functional scrum team, making substantial contributions to the success of both the project and the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create, improve, and sustain Java codebases
- Build backend Micro-services and REST APIs
- Conduct thorough unit testing
- Carry out detailed code reviews
- Maintain adherence to coding standards including unit testing, code reviews, continuous integration, and other established best practices
- Take an active role in SCRUM ceremonies
- Participate in estimation and planning sessions to align with project goals
- Guide and mentor junior developers, ensuring effective collaboration within the team
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree in Computer Science is advantageous
- More than 5 years of Java development experience, with a robust emphasis on backend systems
- At least one year of experience in leadership and team management
- Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration and microservices management
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microservice Architecture Patterns
- Experience with Microsoft Azure for implementing cloud services and solutions
- Skilled in the development and integration of REST APIs
- Competence in unit testing methods and tools
- Fluent in English with a proficiency at a C1 level or higher

- Knowledge of Apache Kafka for managing real-time data feeds
