We are seeking a skilled Lead Java Developer to join our team and play a critical role in delivering high-quality software solutions.
In this position, you will focus on designing and implementing scalable backend systems, collaborating with diverse teams, and driving technical excellence across projects. This role offers the chance to tackle complex challenges, mentor team members, and contribute to impactful solutions that align with business goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices to ensure seamless interaction between front-end systems and external platforms
- Work closely with product managers, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and front-end developers to gather requirements and deliver new features
- Perform detailed unit testing and maintain automated test coverage to uphold high code quality and system reliability
- Debug and enhance backend systems, utilizing tools such as Splunk for monitoring and log analysis
- Lead and participate in code reviews, promoting coding standards, architecture best practices, and consistency across the team
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and ensure compliance with integration and deployment standards
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
- Mentor and guide junior developers, encouraging knowledge sharing and supporting the team’s technical growth
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software development
- A minimum of one year of experience managing and leading development teams
- Expertise in Java and Spring/Spring Boot Frameworks
- Proven experience designing and implementing microservices architectures, including RESTful API development and security standards
- Demonstrated ability to use monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk for debugging and performance optimization
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like React, Redux, and TypeScript, with the ability to collaborate across the stack when needed
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices, Docker, and Jenkins for automated build and deployment workflows
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure is preferred but not required
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills within Agile/Scrum environments
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) at a C1+ level
