Lead Java Developer

We are looking for a Lead Java Developer to join our team.
In this role, you will play a key part in developing a high-performance platform for logistics solutions. You will collaborate closely with clients and work alongside a talented team to deliver quality software.
Responsibilities
- Assist team members in overcoming obstacles and blockers
- Collaborate with the Europe-based Lead to manage the team effectively
- Serve as the Single Point of Contact for client-side management and Product Owners
- Contribute hands-on as an advanced-level Software Engineer
- Propose design and architecture for team deliverables
- Provide high-level estimates for project components
- Engage directly with clients to prepare performance reports and plan team workloads
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions
- Work with engineers and architects to develop innovative software solutions
- Utilize new technologies from a top-tier tech stack
Requirements :
- Experience in software development and integration through full system implementation life-cycles (5+ years)
- Hands-on experience with Java (5+ years)
- Leadership experience in managing a Software Development Team (1+ years)
- Experience in direct client communication and reporting
- Strong problem-solving abilities to analyze and resolve issues independently
- Self-management skills with a focus on prioritization
- Proficiency in SQL
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Certification in Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with Google Guice
- Understanding of Protocol Buffers
- Knowledge of Guava
