Design and build scalable backend systems and services Collaborate with teammates to deliver high-quality software solutions Lead code reviews and mentor engineers to maintain coding standards Optimize performance and troubleshoot technical issues as they occur Oversee integration of third-party APIs and external services Create and update technical documentation for new and existing functionality Champion best practices across the full software development lifecycle Guide continuous improvement of team processes and technical capabilities Proven record of 5 years of relevant software development experience Demonstrated experience of 1 year leading and managing development teams Advanced Python expertise for building, evolving, and supporting applications Hands-on experience with ReactJS to deliver user interfaces and connect to backend systems Practical knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) for deploying and operating cloud-based applications Solid background in database design, administration, and performance tuning Proficiency with Git for version control and team-based workflows Experience using Python web frameworks such as Django or Flask Working knowledge of Python web server setup, configuration, and deployment Strong understanding of security best practices in software engineering Experience delivering user authentication and authorization mechanisms Familiarity with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies Excellent English communication skills (B2+ Upper-Intermediate or higher), written and spoken Background in AI development or architecture, including machine learning models, AI feature integration, or scalable AI infrastructure
