We are seeking an experienced Lead Application Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Cloud–based application development and integration. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle APEX, and PL/SQL, and will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to design, build, integrate, and support scalable enterprise applications.
This role requires a solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, integration patterns, and database-driven application development within regulated enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Oracle APEX and PL/SQL.
Build, enhance, and support integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including REST/SOAP services and event-driven patterns.
Develop and deploy solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), leveraging appropriate OCI services for compute, storage, networking, and security.
Design and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and database objects to support high-performance applications.
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and infrastructure teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
Support end-to-end application lifecycle activities, including development, testing, deployment, and production support across environments (Dev, QA, Prod).
Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and performance issues in a timely manner.
Ensure solutions adhere to DTCC security standards, coding best practices, and Oracle-recommended design patterns.
Produce and maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, and support runbooks.
Required Qualifications
6–9 years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer or Application Developer in Oracle-based environments.
Strong experience with:
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
Oracle APEX application development
PL/SQL development and performance tuning
Solid understanding of Oracle database architecture, data modeling, and SQL optimization.
Experience building and consuming RESTful and SOAP APIs.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience integrating Oracle applications with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, Snowflake, or other data platforms.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and DevOps practices for Oracle applications.
Experience working in financial services or other highly regulated environments.
Familiarity with cloud security concepts, identity and access management, and compliance controls in OCI.
