You will lead WordPress initiatives end-to-end, working closely with design, marketing, and cross functional teams to ensure seamless, user-centric experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate UI/UX designs, wireframes, and prototypes into high-quality, responsive interfaces
  • Partner with design teams to enhance usability, interaction design, and user journeys
  • Ensure performance, accessibility (WCAG), SEO, AEO, GEO, LLMO and Core Web Vitals compliance
  • Drive design system consistency and frontend best practices
  • Manage multiple projects, identify risks, and ensure on-time delivery
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce standards, and mentor junior developers
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, SEO, AEO, GEO, LLMO and content teams for campaign execution
  • Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and marketing automation platforms

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in WordPress development, with 2–3+ years in a lead role
  • Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frontend practices
  • Proven experience building custom WordPress themes (without heavy reliance on page builders)
  • Deep understanding of UI/UX principles, usability, and interaction design
  • Hands-on experience with Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
  • Strong knowledge of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and performance optimization
  • Familiarity with SEO, AEO, GEO, LLMO best practices, and Core Web Vitals
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD workflows, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Strong project management skills—planning, prioritization, and execution
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Good to Have

  • Experience with Headless WordPress (React / Next.js)
  • Exposure to conversion rate optimization (CRO) and A/B testing
  • Knowledge of analytics tools (GA4, Hotjar, etc.)
  • Experience working on B2B or high-traffic marketing websites

What We’re Looking For

  • A blend of developer + UX thinker + project leader
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive initiatives independently
  • High attention to detail across code quality and user experience
  • Ability to translate business goals into intuitive digital experiences
