Qualification:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Shopify Developer with 8+ years of software development experience and deep expertise in Shopify-based eCommerce solutions. The ideal candidate will lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable, high-performance Shopify applications while providing technical leadership to distributed engineering teams. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Shopify theme development, Liquid, Shopify APIs, JavaScript, and modern web technologies, along with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, mentor developers, conduct design and code reviews, and ensure successful delivery of enterprise-level eCommerce projects in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise-grade Shopify eCommerce solutions.
• Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Build and integrate Shopify Admin, Storefront, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
• Design and implement scalable third-party integrations, custom Shopify apps, and enterprise services.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and best practices to development teams.
• Conduct technical design reviews, peer code reviews, and ensure code quality standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Coordinate onshore and offshore teams to deliver multiple workstreams on schedule.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack.
• Optimize storefront performance, security, scalability, SEO, and accessibility.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and promote engineering excellence.
• Manage source control, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Ensure timely delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and maintainability.
