In this role you drive advanced load calculation methods to support variable power modes and Fault-Right-Through events. You will leverage wind-turbine theory and grid-code knowledge, using simulation and drivetrain tools to inform product development and certification activities. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to address IEC 61400-1 load standards and ensure compliant, robust designs. Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Develop and apply advanced load calculation methods for variable power modes and fault events
• Conduct aeroelastic and multi-body simulations to support certification activities
• Apply IEC 61400-1 load standards to product development and documentation
• Utilize simulation and drivetrain modelling tools (Alaska, Bladed, HAWC2, FAST, Simpack) to evaluate performance
• Prepare and contribute to certification documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate load calculations into xqbhyrx design and validation
Responsabilidades
• M. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or similar
• Knowledge of Bladed, Alaska, HAWC2, Flex5, Python, MATLAB
• At least 8 years of experience in a similar role
• Advanced English level (C1-C2); Spanish and/or German a plus
• Availability to travel
