Overview C.H. Robinson is looking for a Logistics Associate in Monterrey. This role ensures the smooth movement of freight, delivering exceptional service that directly impacts customer satisfaction and the success of our global supply chain operations. You will coordinate shipments, communicate with carriers and customers, and resolve transportation challenges to keep freight moving efficiently. The position balances on‑site collaboration one day a week with the flexibility of remote work four days a week.
Duties and Responsibilities - Provide timely and professional written and verbal responses to customer requests.
- Book transportation loads in the Transportation Management System.
- Monitor team mailboxes.
- Resolve simple exceptions to any pre‑defined processes.
- Schedule delivery appointments with receivers.
- Make necessary changes as requested by the customer within the Transportation Management System.
- Manual building and creating new transportation loads within the Transportation Management System.
- Conduct system trainings to external parties.
- Follow standard operating procedures and update them when gaps are identified.
- Run, format, or distribute reports to the appropriate internal or external parties.
- Contribute to projects that utilize the CHR project‑based delivery model.
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements.
Qualifications Required:
- High School Diploma and/or GED.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule on occasion, including overtime hours when requested.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Prior experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, and/or Logistics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
- Solid understanding of information systems.
- Friendly and articulate phone demeanor.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to problem‑solve quickly and accurately.
- Ability to prioritize and handle a variety of tasks.
- Ability to motivate and encourage change, able to get positive results in a very large, dispersed organization.
