What will you do?
Main responsibilities
- To schedule and monitor operations for receiving and shipping materials.
- Conduct capacity versus demand analyses, promoting the balancing of available resources.
- To develop and manage loading and unloading schedules, ensuring the best use of docks and equipment.
- To plan and monitor the flow of vehicles, carriers, and service providers.
- Monitor compliance with operational schedules and act to resolve deviations.
- Control volumes, priorities, and service windows – Receiving and Shipping.
- Monitor logistics indicators (OTS, D2S, productivity, dock occupancy, lead time and schedule adherence).
- Act as an interface between operations and planning, conduct Gemba/Shift Change meetings.
- Ensure the execution of daily tasks and escalate deviations with leadership.
- Work with the Warehouse/Distribution Centers, Transportation, Planning, and Customer Service departments.
- To ensure the correct issuance and control of logistics and tax documents.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and increased operational efficiency.
- To support projects aimed at optimizing processes and digitally transforming logistics.
What we are looking for
Required qualifications
- Completed or currently pursuing higher education in Logistics, Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- Experience with logistics planning, transportation, warehousing, or distribution center operations.
- Knowledge of ERP, WMS and/or TMS systems.
- Intermediate or advanced Excel skills.
- Analytical skills for data-driven decision making.
- Knowledge of operational and logistics performance indicators.
Desired qualifications
- Knowledge of Power BI (for creating dashboards and reports).
- Knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement.
