From Oxigent Technologies, we are looking for a MACHINE LEARNING ENGINEER (PYTHON EXPERT) to join this multinational company, taking part in projects focused on the development of AI-based solutions for the optimization of aviation operations , based in Barcelona (Poblenou) .

Your mission will be to design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI systems , taking part in the full lifecycle of machine learning models and contributing to products that directly impact the operational efficiency of the aviation sector.

What will your main responsibilities be?

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI and machine learning solutions for production environments.
• Lead the technical architecture and implementation of new features, AI models, or pipelines.
• Work closely with the Flight Operations Expert for AI Products to ensure that the products are optimized for aerial operations and meet necessary safety and operational requirements.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI models , including data processing, training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability through best practices in testing, documentation, and continuous integration.
• Manage and mentor the Junior AI Engineers in the development of new products and the maintenance of existing ones.
• Occasionally contribute your expertise to the development of other products.

What do you need for this role?

• At least 4–5 years of experience developing AI solutions with Python.
• Strong experience in machine learning, data-driven systems, and data modeling.
• Experience building production-grade software systems.
• Very high level of English ( international environment, daily communication in English ).
• Strong technical leadership, autonomy, and architectural thinking.
• Experience working in international teams and complex projects.
