Machine Learning / Data Science Analyst
Job Description
We are looking for a Machine Learning / Data Science professional with strong Python and SQL skills, a solid understanding of statistical and machine learning concepts, and experience working with large-scale data platforms. The ideal candidate will be analytical, collaborative, and comfortable learning and applying new technologies in a cloud-based environment.
Essential Skills
- Python – strong working knowledge, including ML/data libraries such as Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and statsmodels.
- SQL / RSQL – ability to query, transform, and analyse large datasets.
- Teradata – experience working with Teradata data environments.
- BigQuery – knowledge of querying and analysing data using Google BigQuery.
- Understanding of Machine Learning algorithms, model development, and model evaluation techniques.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and statistical/ML modelling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Azure Machine Learning Studio.
- Knowledge of Azure Databricks.
- Exposure to GCP and/or AWS cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud-based analytics and machine learning environments.
- Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
