Pipe Manufacturing Job
Manufactures high-quality, low-cost pipe according to manufacturing specification sheets in an efficient manner while maintaining all NOV quality and safety measures.
Primary duties and responsibilities include operating winding machine, DSC machine, extractor cart, impact gun, and measuring equipment. Understands specifications and how it relates to machine setup and product. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision. Utilizes safe work habits, wears appropriate PPE, and complies with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures. Complies with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures. Complies with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures. Other duties as assigned.
Job requirements include the ability to read pressure gauges, labels on pipe along with specs on paper, and the ability to work overtime and shift work as required. Good vision is required for safe operation of forklift. Standing, walking, bending, stooping, repetitive movement, and lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly are required. Push/pull up to 12 hours daily. Assist where and when needed as required. Utilize recommended safe work habits and make use of all safety equipment provided. Assist with OJT (On Job Training) employees as needed. Education and experience qualifications include three years of verifiable work history. Ability to read, write, and speak English preferred.
