Seeking a (JAVA) Senior Software Engineer with experience in content management and a proven track record in fast-paced delivery environments, with the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Design and develop engineering specifications for software applications and systems.
- Write, maintain, and review code in accordance with established coding standards and best practices.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement technical solutions that support required product features while ensuring functionality, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate within an Agile team, actively participating in Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, and delivering assigned work throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Communicate risks, issues, and blockers promptly to the Scrum Master and project stakeholders.
- Track progress against project schedules, provide regular status updates, and escalate technical challenges as needed.
- Apply software engineering best practices across the full development lifecycle, including coding standards, unit testing, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Demonstrate experience designing and delivering large-scale, customer-facing applications.
- Exhibit a strong sense of ownership, urgency, accountability, and results-driven execution.
Required Skills:
- IBM Filenet
- IBM CMOD
- Mainframe JCL/COBOL/CICS and understanding of mainframe storage.
- This would be someone who possesses a senior-level skillset in the above skills (10+years) No certifications required.
- Do not need to be US citizens.

- DB2
- TSO
- Plex Configurations
- JES2
- SMP/e
- JCL
- Assembler
- REXX programming
- IBM ImagePlus mainframe experience would be helpful in addition to CMOD.
