As the Manager of Accounting Acquisition Process Integration at Arthur J. You will play a critical role in driving operational success by aligning transactional accounting functionsincluding banking, cash application, special handling, payables, premium billing, and direct bill commission processingwith the company's strategic objectives. Your ability to inspire and lead a team while maintaining a client-centric approach will be key to ensuring successful integration outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
About You Required: Bachelor's degree and 7 years of related experience required. Requires broad general accounting knowledge, including FASB and GAAP regulations. Requires in-depth knowledge of the insurance brokerage business. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Preferred: Ability to learn and become proficient in EPIC and various Insurance Agency Management Systems. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. 10+ years of experience in transactional accounting roles within the insurance brokerage or financial services industry, with a focus on premium and commission processing. Proven experience in leading and managing integration projects, with strong project management and change management expertise. Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on fostering a client-centric and collaborative culture. Strong ability to work across diverse teams and build relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels. Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deliverable dates effectively. In-depth knowledge of insurance accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset. Willingness to travel as needed to acquisition partners and corporate headquarters. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
