SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and coordinate daily engineering team activities, ensuring efficient scheduling and execution of technical initiatives
  • Deliver technical training sessions and programming instruction to both internal staff and external clients
  • Provide hands-on coaching and guidance related to advanced machining processes and full product capabilities
  • Develop and execute machining demonstrations showcasing modern technologies and solutions
  • Lead turnkey project development by creating machining programs, selecting tooling, and designing fixturing to meet production targets
  • Partner with customers and distributors to provide technical expertise in programming, manufacturing processes, and troubleshooting
  • Support pre-sales efforts through site visits, opportunity evaluations, and development of technical proposals and recommendations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams during events, trade shows, and marketing initiatives
  • Assist in specialized projects, including travel-based support for technical teams and product experts
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts tied to engineering processes and customer satisfaction


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design, or related field, or equivalent hands-on industry experience
  • 5–10+ years of experience within a manufacturing or machining environment
  • 2+ years of experience leading or supervising technical or engineering teams
  • Strong background in CNC machining, including multi-task turning centers and advanced programming
  • Experience working with machine controls such as Fanuc and Siemens
  • Proficiency in G-code/M-code programming
  • Hands-on experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, NX) and CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD)
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixture design
  • Familiarity with project tracking tools and structured planning methods is a plus
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality standards preferred
  • Comfortable supporting customer-facing activities and technical presentations
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25%
