Position Overview Manager EHS
We are looking for a Manager EHS to join our team and support the Food colors business. In this individual contributor position, you’ll be responsible for all Environmental Health and Safety activities.
What you’ll do: - Maintain site EH&S compliance calendar and track completion of compliance activities.
- Prepare and submit all facility EHS required reporting, both internally and externally.
- Manage facility contractor safety program.
- Serve as functional member of the site audit and inspection program, complete reports and track observations to closure.
- Work with facility engineering team for capital requests related to all EHS projects as directed.
- Provide a local leadership role for the facility Process Safety Management compliance program.
- Prepare, review and timely submit any environmental permitting requests to support changes in facility process capabilities.
- Coordinate resolution of corrective action findings resulting from audits, inspections, EHS compliance audits, and process-related incident investigations.
- Lead and manage all incident investigations related to process safety events.
- Develop, track, and maintain all EHS training programs, and lead and promote the health and safety culture in the plant.
What you’ll bring: - A minimum of five years of EHS experience in a food manufacturing facility or another similar environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, safety & health management, industrial hygiene, industrial technology, or a comparable degree.
- Solid working knowledge of local and federal regulations.
