The EHSQ Systems Development and Implementation Manager leads the design, development, deployment, and continuous improvement of enterprise safety programs, processes, and supporting technology. This position translates organizational safety strategy, regulatory requirements, operational risks, and industry best practices into practical and scalable solutions that strengthen field execution, improve consistency, and support the prevention of serious injuries and fatalities. This role is based in Phoenix, AZ and follows a hybrid work schedule.
What You'll Do
Working closely with operational leaders, safety professionals, IT, HR, Legal, Risk, and other stakeholders, this role leads safety initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation and adoption. The Manager provides project leadership, change management, training, data analysis, and performance monitoring to ensure programs and systems are effectively integrated into operations, user-focused, and drive measurable improvements in safety and organizational performance.
• Works with EHSQ and operations teams and internal departments to identify and manage opportunities for performance enhancement platforms and programs.
• Support field stakeholders with systems and tools while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure programs and solutions meet business and user needs.
• Manage the configuration, integration, and optimization of safety technology platforms, including incident management, inspections, observations, corrective actions, audits, training, and reporting systems.
• Implement EHSQ applications, including Flex Manager, Samsara, Capacity Modeling, and other enterprise platforms, to support consistent use across EHSQ teams, leadership, best practice groups, and business partners.
• Establish standardized workflows, data definitions, documentation requirements, and governance processes to improve consistency and reliability across operating locations and business units.
• Develop implementation plans outlining objectives, responsibilities, milestones, resources, communications, training, testing, rollout, user adoption, support, and success measures.
• Facilitate working groups, implementation teams, and cross-functional workshops to gather requirements, resolve process gaps, and build alignment around proposed solutions.
• Coordinate system testing, data validation, upgrades, enhancements, and issue resolution with technology teams and vendors. Provide technical support and guidance to system users and operational leaders.
• Develop dashboards, performance indicators, and reporting processes that provide meaningful insight into leading and lagging safety performance, high-energy exposures, corrective actions, and emerging risk trends.
• Manage projects, vendors, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation and business outcomes. Maintain system documentation, workflows, training materials, and revision records.
• Perform other duties and lead special safety-program or systems initiatives as assigned.
What You'll Have
• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Exceptional quantitative and analytic skills with high degree of attention to detail.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), inclusive of pivot tables, charts/graphs for reporting, and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Minimum of five years of progressive safety, operational risk, program development, or safety-management systems experience.
• Minimum of two years of experience leading enterprise-level projects, system implementations, or cross-functional safety initiatives.
• Experience in building and using Learning Management Systems (LMS) platforms.
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing safety-management technology platforms, procedures, workflows, and supporting tools across multiple locations or business units.
• Demonstrated experience with project management, change management, stakeholder engagement, training, and implementation planning.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills, including the ability to communicate with field employees, operational leaders, technical teams, and executives.
• Ability to travel to company offices, operating locations, and project sites as business needs require.

Work Environment
• Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
