Key Responsibilities: Cloud Application Development:
Design, develop, and deploy AWS Cloud-based applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
Utilize AWS native services such as Lambda, Timestream, Kinesis, etc., to build scalable solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with onsite, offshore, and cross-functional teams including Product Management, Frontend Developers, and SQA teams to deliver high-quality products.
Collaborate with Solutions Architects on low-level design and technical implementation strategies.
Agile Development & Sprint Planning:
Plan and delegate sprint work effectively to the development team while actively contributing to development tasks.
Participate in PI planning sessions to identify technical challenges and provide input on Epics/Stories.
Risk Management & POCs:
Proactively identify risks and potential failure points early in the development lifecycle.
Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) to mitigate risks and validate technical feasibility.
Mentorship & Code Quality:
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping them align with best practices.
Conduct peer code reviews to ensure adherence to high coding standards and architectural guidelines.
Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs):
Ensure that products meet required compliance standards as per Carrier's policies and NFRs.
Experience & Skills Required: 6–10 years of overall software development experience.
4+ years of hands-on experience in building Cloud-native applications on AWS.
Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework .
In-depth knowledge of AWS Cloud native services: Lambda, Timestream, Kinesis, etc.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
Expertise in developing APIs: REST, GraphQL, Websockets.
Solid understanding of unit testing (Jest framework) and integration testing methodologies.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related disciplines.
AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect (preferred but not mandatory).
