We are seeking a Manager, Software Development to lead the evolution of Bentley’s Civil Engineering software portfolio. In this role, you will manage a globally distributed team of developers and oversee day‑to‑day operations, driving technical excellence, organizational transformation, and strategic impact. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to implement processes, guide engineering investment decisions, and deliver high‑quality, reliable solutions.
ResponsibilitiesManage, mentor, and develop a global software engineering team.
Ensure high standards for code quality, maintainability, testing, and overall product stability.
Oversee release readiness, defect management, and continuous improvement of engineering processes.
Strategic Decision‑MakingUse data, telemetry, customer feedback, and engineering insight to guide product strategies and prioritize engineering investments.
Optimize development efficiency and team focus.
Collaborate Across FunctionsPartner with Product Management, UX, Quality Engineering and leadership to align on product strategy and delivery goals.
