Manager Stat Program
The Manager Stat Program will provide clinical management of the OR Stat Program as well as coordination of external visiting surgical technologist schools' clinical trainee rotations on campus. In addition, this position supervises Stat Program Assistant and trainees. Work functions include completion of probational evaluations, mentoring practice accountability through clinical practice auditing, staff/trainee coaching, and performance management progressive discipline/corrective action planning. This position provides didactic and clinical instruction for students learning how to perform the surgical technologist room in surgical and procedural areas. This manager serves as in-house expert resource for staff engaging in career advancement to obtain associate degrees which is preferred in some levels of the refreshed surgical technologist career ladder.

Skills & Abilities:
1. Proficient in curriculum design, program administration, evaluation, instruction, and counseling
2. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, & Powerpoint.
3. Current proficient scrubbing skills and a sound knowledge of applied surgical procedural techniques
4. Professional interpersonal skills
5. Proficient in public speaking.
6. Working knowledge of budget principles.
