Job Description
Responsible for planning, ordering, and coordinating packaging materials from suppliers to ensure smooth production operations without shortages or delays. Manage backlog and shipment to ensure meeting OTD and shipment revenue plan.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and place purchase orders for packaging materials (cartons, labels, carrier tape, cover tape, trays, tubes etc.)
Monitor inventory levels and forecast material requirements based on production plans
Coordinate with suppliers on delivery schedules and ensure on-time delivery
Follow up on order status, delays, and shortages
Work closely with production, warehouse, and logistics teams
Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
In-house production line planning and test WIP management
Support manufacturing to meet all test out plan and KPI goals
Qualifications
Degree or Bachelor’s holder in business administration or any related degree in Manufacturing environment and Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
Preferred >2 years working experience as Manufacturing Planner/ Production Control
Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Test Capacity and OEE are added advantages.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with experience in purchasing or supply chain will have an advantage
Strong communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams
Follow-up & Responsibility
Positive attitude and willing to learn (fresh graduates)
Software:
Excel - Basic formulas (SUM, VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP)
SAP - Experience with SAP systems is an advantage
Power Apps - Power Query, Power Automate, Power BI is an advantage
