Position Description
Control and monitor the spares requirements for aircraft projects and ensure timely availability of materials from HAECO and Customers under minimum supervision.
What You'll Do
- Support aircraft maintenance operation by managing all the spares requirements for assigned aircraft projects or workshop repair order.
- Provide relevant material information to all related parties in a timely manner that can ensure the acquired spares comply with regulatory requirements, thus, to deliver the final product with safety and quality.
- Control and monitor the spares requirements for aircraft projects and ensure timely availability of materials from HAECO and Customers under moderate supervision.
- Monitor spares demands and shortages on aircraft projects and report status in a timely manner.
- Liaise with Purchasing section on spares shortages and delivery information.
- Provide spares status and delivery information to Production and Customer representatives in a timely manner.
- Issue urgent PO to suppliers for shortages after normal office hours.
- Look for alternate parts against shortages.
- Provide information and work with Production and Technical Services departments to raise TAR in case of critical material shortages.
- Timely update the material status in HAECO and Customer Material System against shortages.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Shift duty may require (subject to operation need).
What You'll Need
- No relevant experience required
- Completed HKCEE/ HKDSE or equivalent
- English - Attained HKCEE Grade E or HKDSE Grade 3
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of written English
- Good PC skills with Microsoft Office applications preferred
