Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday from 3:00pm to 11:00pm
Hiring Hourly Rate
$23.26 (plus afternoon shift premium)
Responsibilities
- Communicates all relevant operational matters on an ongoing basis.
- Performs duties in accordance with established procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Transfers material/finished goods from bagging and/or bakeries into inventory, etc.
- Keeps material and racks, clean & tidy.
- Keeps narrow aisle reach truck clean, tidy & safe.
- Follows material movement practices, maintains extensive knowledge of storage, movement and safe handling of goods.
- Checks that all materials are correctly stored and transferred using the Radio Frequency device.
- Maintains inventory counts and levels.
- Communicates internally with other departments for the purpose of gathering, distributing materials and maintaining inventory.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of basic mathematical foundations, which will be assessed separately.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or carry up to 25kg throughout the shift.
- Minimum 1 year experience operating a forklift.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess unrestricted authorization to work in Canada.
- Voids work visa sponsorship.
- This is a safety sensitive position and requires the use of an N9 NIOSH‑approved fitted respirator (“N95”) or approved alternative; fit‑testing will be required.
What Will Set You Apart
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Microsoft DAX or other ERP knowledge.
