Material Handler - First & Second Shift - Sterling Heights, MI
Material Handler
We're seeking a dependable and motivated Material Handler to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for moving, organizing, and supplying materials throughout the facility to support production while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to safety.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience with material handling, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to safely move, load, unload, and organize materials.
- Experience operating a hi-lo, forklift, and pallet jack.
- Current forklift/hi-lo certification is preferred but not required.
- Maintain accurate inventory and ensure materials are delivered to the appropriate work areas.
- Must be able to maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Must be willing to learn and train.
- Must be reliable with a good work history.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with overtime if desired.
- 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM with overtime if desired.
- Some weekends may be required.
- Shifts may occasionally increase to 10-hour days (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM).
Requirements:
- This job requires steel-toe shoes.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
